 Happy Spring!

Have You Heard the Buzz?

Resting on a small seed-bed inside a saffron sun,

I savor the sweetness of my life— 

solitary, but part of a community with a job to do,

petite, but productive, 

and have you heard the buzz,

the honorable appellation 

that names bees the Most Important  Species on Earth?
